Surface Blasting
Using fine grit and glass bead media VES Precision can offer surface blasting to remove imperfections, staining and also removal of the remelt layer created during the EDM process – a particular requirement of Rolls Royce parts.
As blasting is a controlled process VES Precision has invested in multiple blasting booths to ensure that glass bead and fine grit media is not mixed. Our blasting booths can accommodate components up to 800mm x 600mm x 500mm.
VES Precision is based in Crewkerne, Somerset and was established in 1991 in order to provide precision machining services with capabilities including CNC milling, turning, EDM Wire Erosion, grinding, lapping and surface blasting as well as a dedicated in-house inspection facility.
